Day of Reflection
Friday, March 6 – Day of Reflection, St. Mary-St. Anthony Catholic Church, 615 N. 7th St., KCK.
The morning begins with an 8 a.m. Mass, followed by a a presentation by Father Meinrad Miller, OSB, on “Setting out on the Way with the Gospel as our Guide.” A continental breakfast will be served after the presentation. Bake Sale
Love those Croatian goodies? The Altar Society bake sale is set for Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 (Palm Sunday) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 708 N. 4th St., KCK.
Treats will include homemade povitica, apple strudel, bread, noodles and other yummy treats for Easter. The apple strudels will be sold on a first come, first sold basis – with no pre-orders available. Hours: 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday.
Golf Tournament
Save the date!! The Strawberry Hill Altar Societies will hold a a Golf Tournament at 1 p.m., July 20, at Sunflower Hill Golf Course. Cost is $75 per person for green fees, cart and dinner.
Can you donate raffle items or gift cards? Perhaps you would like to advertise your business or remember a loved one by sponsoring a hole for $100.
